The smart contract rewards each Spark checker based on their contribution to Spark in the latest round.
With the evaluations on chain, these evaluations are converted into rewards by splitting the total round reward between the Spark checkers, weighted by their evaluation scores.
At this point, Spark checkers can see their total scheduled rewards accrued over all previous rounds since they began checking, or since their last payout if they have already taken custody of previous scheduled rewards.
Periodically (initially once per ~month), the Spark protocol sends scheduled rewards into each Spark checkers account, provided they have accrued over 0.5 FIL. At this point the funds are in their account, under their sole custody and no longer linked to the Spark protocol.
