Targets are sent requests by dealgood with the following default settings:
- Each instance has maximum 100 in flight requests
- Requests are timed out after 30 seconds
- Requests are filtered to only allow path style requests (i.e. requests beginning with /ipfs or /ipns)
Hardware
Targets run in containers in AWS ECS, one container per EC2 instance. There are 5 different classes of server supported:
compute_large
- Instance type c6id.8xlarge (32 CPU, 64GiB RAM, 12.5 Gigabit)
- Storage: 200GiB, gp3, 1000 IOPS, 1000 MB/s
compute_medium
- Instance type c6id.4xlarge (16 CPU, 32GiB RAM, Up to 12.5 Gigabit)
- Storage: 200GiB, gp3, 1000 IOPS, 1000 MB/s
compute_small
- Instance type c6id.2xlarge (8 CPU,16GiB RAM, Up to 12.5 Gigabit)
- Storage: 200GiB, gp3, 1000 IOPS, 1000 MB/s
io_large
- Instance type i3en.2xlarge (8 CPU, 64GiB RAM, Up to 25 Gigabit)
- Storage: 200GiB, gp3, 1000 IOPS, 1000 MB/s
io_medium
- Instance type i3en.xlarge (4 CPU, 32GiB RAM, Up to 25 Gigabit)
