- Transition from Problem Definition to Partner Acquisition: what date can we set to align on the new Bacalhau messaging (Jobs to Be Done)? We cannot market to prospective partners until we are aligned on the messaging.
- We will not have new messaging for the new product lines at this time.
- Wes to build 5 jobs to be done on Bacalhau for any group of users.
- Are there any NewCo vs Protocol Labs IP limitations we need to observe?
- How soon can we announce initial public references from your 1:1 customer conversations? This will impact our planning for partner marketing.
- How does the CODWG contribute to the customer acquisition goals for Bacalhau in Q2-Q4?
- Brand awareness for Bacalhau, Filecoin, and Protocol Labs
- Partnerships (Blocz, New Atlantis)
- General purpose research for the community
- Highly successful in person events
- Todo: alignment of Dev Grants with CODWG, focus on onboarding jobs
- How does the Compute Provider (CP) Network growth contribute to the customer or product goals for Bacalhau in Q2-Q4?
- Any amount of CP adds value, unclear which specific amount at this time
- Todo: determine how the CP network success is judged: possibly leaning toward 10 CP, VC may prefer 1 large revenue CP
- Can our PL budget request include headcount to hire Sales FTEs for H2? Or should we assume this would be covered by NewCo staff?
- Yes, include this 2-4 people
- Which benefits (tangible or intangible) will a Partner get in return for partnering with Bacalhau for the May COD Summit?
- Advisory role?
- Engineering resources?
- Free compute? If so, how much?
