Anti-cheating mechanisms

Priority: high

• How do we disincentivize compute nodes from submitting invalid results?
• How do we disincentivize collusion on submission of correct results, in order to stop groups of nodes getting paid more than the actual work they did?
• How do we disincentivize clients (requestor nodes) from lying about whether the compute nodes have done the work correctly?

• Modelling the incentive structures of our proposed verification protocol and pointing out issues and flaws in the incentives

Priority: medium

• Do we bill for compute jobs per job, or per unit time? Per CPU, memory, GPU, or based on a gas fee?
• If we bill for unit time how do we stop nodes just intentionally slowing down the work they’re doing so they get paid more for less?
