Background

Goals
- Create visibility into SPs retrieval performance
- Incentivize good retrieval behavior
- Create a habit for ecosystem players (data clients, developers, data programs participants) to assess retrieval performance as way to measure SP’s reputation
By building and maintaining an initial version of the dashboard, we would like to bootstrap reputation data collection, storage and usage
During Q1 / Q2 2023, we will focus on
1. Creating a system for reputation data reporting and storage
2. Building a prototype of a dashboard that surfaces that data
3. Creating awareness around retrieval metrics through community programs (Golden retriever competition, Slingshot)
4. Converting existing reputation systems to using retrieval data
Eventually, we want to move retrieval reputation data reporting to existing dashboards (e.g., Filswan, Starbaord, Filgram etc.) and storage clients (e.g., Estuary)
